Built on the banks of the Swan River, southwest of the west coast of Australia, Perth is the capital of the State of Western Australia. It is the fourth most populous city in the country with 2,201,200 inhabitants in 2014 . The tranquility of its beaches and its various green spaces are assets that make the reputation of Perth.

Day and night, Perth is a very lively city. The majority of trendy restaurants, clubs and bars can be found in Northbridge, Subiaco and Leederville. Located just half an hour from the center, the coastal port of Fremantle is accessible by boat via Swan River. This is where the remains of the colonial era and other sites that make the reputation of Perth are concentrated: craft brewery, maritime museum and museum of Western Australia, the bell tower of the Swan Bell Tower etc.

Active and modern, Perth is a cosmopolitan city and it ranks second among the most developed Australian capitals after Sydney. However, Perth is also the most isolated city in the world . The city’s economy is based on the mining industry and its possession of a large water reserve like the rest of Western Australia.
